You do not have to be registered to contact owner by the App.

To register a Thing, start with a free registration of yourself as an Owner. You need to be online.

A Thing given a REG No shows that it is registered in the International Theft Protection Register. The world’s largest and most easy accessed Owners Register. Any registered Thing will be traceable, back to its owner.

This register is the only International Register giving the possibility to contact the owner, not only by Police and Insurance Companies, but for any Finder.
