If your education is taken outside Norway, you may need to get recognition for your education.
In Norway there are about 170 occupations that are regulated by law, i.e. you need authorization/a license/ approval to pursue the profession in Norway.
This applies if you are a Norwegian citizen and have taken your education abroad, or if you are a citizen of another nation and would like to work in Norway.
What should I do?
You may apply for general recognition.
Get subject specific recognition of higher education.
Or recognition of a regulated profession.
